2017 Oral Hygiene Month

Happy October!

Did you know October is National Dental Hygiene Month? If you didn’t, that’s what we’re here for! We wanted to bring attention to oral hygiene and give some pointers on how to keep your mouth looking and feeling great! There are four things that will help keep your oral hygiene on track:

  1. Brush your teeth (at least) twice a day for two minutes each time
  2. Brush at least 2x a day for 2 minutes with a soft-bristled toothbrush
  3. Change your tooth brush every 3-4 months
  4. Hold brush tips at a 45-degree-angle to clean at the gum line while brushing the inner AND outer surfaces of each tooth
  5. Consider an electric toothbrush!
